A Hammerhead (aka A Shot in the Dark) is a shot of espresso combined with drip coffee. With the combination of the two coffees, it is a drink that is either loved or hated. But, one thing for sure is that you will get a good jolt of caffeine from it. It’s important to note that you can alter the roast of your coffee beans and it alters the taste. This drink is usually only seen in the United States. Some people call this a “Red Eye”.
